Battery Tech Policies and Warranties
Product Warranty:
Battery Tech warranties all rebuilt battery packs for a period of one year from the date the product was received by the customer. The warranty covers through normal use, the ability to receive and to hold the charge when charged in the prescribed manufacturer's charger. Any battery pack that has been damaged by impact, infiltrated by water or other liquid, direct short circuit or abused will void this warranty. If at any time during the warranty period (noting the above exceptions) the battery pack fails to charge, Battery Tech will repair it at no cost, except for the return shipping costs to Battery Tech. If the battery pack is found to be in a non-warrantable condition when received at Battery Tech you will be informed and the battery pack will not be returned to you. No other conditions or liabilities are to be assumed in relation to this product or warranty.
Insurance:
You are given the option if you want to insure your order or not. Insurance will cover you in the event your order is lost or damaged during shipment. The cost of this insurance is 2.5% of your total order. You can choose not to get insurance. If you choose not to get insurance Battery Tech is not liable for the lost or damaged goods. When you opt for insurance we must send your packs as "delivery confirmation required" This means someone must be home to sign for the package. This is the only way we can verify you did receive the package. We can not make any acception as this would invalidate the insurance. This is the only way to keep our cost down and to offer you some of the lowest pricing around.
Refunds/Returns:
It is best to contact us first to make sure you qualify for a return / refund. Shipping from customer to Battery Tech is at customers expense. Shipping from Battery Tech back to customer for repair / replacement may be at Battery Tech expense unless the problem was not warranty related.
Customer will contact us before shipping any product back to get authorization. Returns sent to us with no prior authorization or explanation may not receive a refund or be sent back. It is very important that you contact us via email with your problem first. At the very least include a detailed explanation of the problem in with the return. If you email us and we respond, simply include a print out of that email with your return. Again, failure to include this information may result in lost product and no refund.
Custom Battery Pack Returns:
If you order a custom battery pack, it means you know what you need. If it does not fit, it is not our fault. We can"t take back a custom pack you needed for your project since it is doubtful anyone else may need it. You can surely talk to us about it and we will see what we can do or suggest. But be warned, when you order a custom battery pack, it is on you.
